- UG: Class 12 with usually 60 – 75%+ (subject requirements vary by course).
- PG: A relevant bachelor’s degree, usually 55 – 65%+ depending on the university.
- English test: IELTS 6.5 overall (6.0 each band) (PTE/TOEFL often accepted).
- Statement of purpose, CV, 2 – 3 recommendation letters, transcripts and passport.
- Proof of funds: Year 1 tuition plus at least C$22,895 living funds (usually via a GIC). A Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) is required.
For PG, a bachelor’s in CS/IT/engineering (or maths-heavy degree) is usually expected. Some universities offer conversion master’s for non-CS graduates.
